XingYi Essentials

XingYi, a sibling of Tai Chi, is a traditional Chinese internal energy practice. It is based upon the five forces of Taoist cosmology and twelve animal styles and is the predecessor of Sun Style Tai Chi. Professor Li will share his family’s expertise in this art.

This is a hands-on workshop for all levels, beginner to advanced, of any style of Tai Chi. It is a posture-based discussion rather than sequence-based. Get answers to anything you want to know about Tai Chi! There will be a wide variety of Tai Chi styles discussed.
